Terms of Service

These terms cover repair work performed by The Semi Shop at 2745 Tucker Ct Ste A, Jerome, ID 83338 and mobile service on the I-84 corridor. Calling us, submitting the dispatch form, or authorizing work means you accept them.
Quotes and authorization
- Work begins only after you authorize a written quote. The price we quote is the price you pay for the authorized work; if we find something more once we're in, we stop and get your OK before doing it.
- Mobile calls carry a flat call-out fee stated before we roll.
Payment
Payment is due when the work is done, before the truck or trailer leaves. We accept standard payment methods; fleet terms are available by arrangement.
Storage
Units left more than 3 days after completed work is invoiced may accrue a daily storage charge. We'll tell you the rate before it starts.
Parts and warranty
Parts carry the manufacturer's warranty. Our labor is warranted on the repair performed — if the same repair fails under normal use, call us and we'll make it right. The warranty doesn't cover unrelated failures, neglect, overloading, or damage after the truck leaves.
Inspections
Annual (periodic) DOT inspections are performed by qualified inspectors per FMCSA 49 CFR 396.19. An inspection is a point-in-time report of condition, not a guarantee against future failure.
Liability
Our responsibility is limited to the repair work we performed. We are not responsible for cargo, downtime, towing arranged by others, or items left in the vehicle.
